Patches
National Patches
The NCCS offers various programs to assist Scouts of all ages learn more
about their faith. View the current
offerings on the NCCS website. It should be noted that these are activity
patches, not religious emblems, and as such the Scout is not eligible
for the BSA religious knot.
Archeparchial Patches
Local patches are highly encouraged by the NCCS and more patches will be developed by the
archeparchial committee in the near future. It is our hope to use these
patches as a means to develop our scouts identity as Eastern Christians. We believe
that it is important to create programs that help scouts actively live out their
faith in a way that furthers their path of theosis and informs and enriches the
faith of those around them.
Light is Life Camporee
This patch commemorates attendees at the Light is Life camporees hosted by our committee. For more information
on this event please go here. Permission to wear this patch is granted to those
who attended the camporee or were involved in the organization and planning of this annual event.
