Light is Life Camporee
Overview
The Archeparchial Committee on Scouting announces the first
Light is Life Camporee for Boy Scouts to be held
at Camp Guyasuta,
Pittsburgh from Friday, 11/21/08 through Sunday, 11/23/08. Cost will be $10.
Any Eastern Catholic Boy Scout or Venturer interested in a weekend of Eastern Catholic Scout fellowship and working towards the Light is Life emblem should RSVP to Deacon Lance Weakland at 724-223-8048 or camporee@byzcathscouting.org by 10/31/08.

Camporee Schedule
Prospective schedule. Subject to change.
- Friday - 11/21: Optional day.
6pm - Early arrival check-in
7pm - Intro and Snack
9pm - Compline - Saturday - 11/22: Events begin in the morning
and continue on throughout the day.
8am - Breakfast and check-in
9am - Third Hour and Conference
10am - Hike
12pm - Lunch
1pm-4pm - Emblem Sessions
5pm - Vespers
6pm - Dinner
7pm - Conference
8pm - Games/Movie - Sunday - 11/21: Events continue into the afternoon.
Sunday service will be offered.
9am - Liturgy and presentation of patches
11am - Breakfast and depature
